3. The provisions of Article 164-(2)paragraph 1 shall apply accordingly to examinations conducted by a designated scheduled air carrier in accordance with Article 72 paragraph of the Law under the provisions of paragraph 6 of the same Article.

 

(Revocation of Designation as Designated Scheduled Air Carrier)
Article 164-(7). The Minister of Transport may, when a designated air carrier comes under any of the following subparagraphs, revoke the designation as a designated scheduled air carrier granted under Article 72 paragraph 5 of the Law:
(1)When the carrier has violated the provisions of the Law or of Ordinances based on the Law;
(2)When the carrier does not conform to the standards prescribed in each of the subparagraphs of Article 164-(5);
(3)when the carrier has committed a dishonest act in the course of designation as a designated scheduled air carrier under Article 72 paragraph 5 of the Law;
(4)when a dishonest act has been committed in relation to the execution of approval under Article 172 of the Law, or of examination under the same Article paragraph 6 on a pilot inspector belonging to said schedule carrier.

 

(Nomination of Pilot Inspector)
Article 164-(8). A pilot inspector shall be nominated with specified limitations regarding the routes, aerodromes and types of aircraft involved.

 

(Requirements for Nomination of Pilot Inspector)
Article 164-(9). The requirements specified in Ordinances of the Ministry of Transport under Article 72 paragraph 9 of the Law shall be as follows;
(1)The pilot shall have flight experience of more than 2000 hours as the pilot-in-command of aircraft used for a scheduled air transportation service, and, in addition, shall have undergone the training required for a pilot inspector.
(2)The pilot shall have obtained approval under Article 72 paragraph 1 or paragraph 5 of the Law for the routes, aerodromes, and types of aircraft to be used specified in the nomination;
(3)The pilot shall have the knowledge and skill required for executing approval under Article 72 paragraph 5 of the Law and for conducting examinations under paragraph 6 of the same Article;
(4)The pilot shall not be within a period of less than 2 years since the date of completing the execution or the date of being related to its execution, in the case of having violated the law and sentenced to a fine or heavier penalty.

 

(Application, etc. for Nomination of Pilot Inspector)
Article 164-(10). A designated scheduled carrier who makes an application under Article 72 paragraph 9 of the Law shall submit to the Minister of Transport
